“Welcome to Drunk Anime, where we get drunk and we anime.”
In February 2020, The Black Collective premiered a Youtube show called Drunk Anime. The premise? A group of friends get drunk, make up an anime, and find an artist to draw the poster for it.
This project has been quite a journey. I’ve listened to ridiculous stories, met other artists and learned more about show production. I’ve improved my editing (and trolling) skills. This show has also brought the Collective closer together as friends.
So here’s to another year of using our platform to have fun, celebrate nerd culture, and showcase talented artists!
